Silver Spray Falls, also known as Hidden Falls is one of the prettiest falls in New Jersey. The falls are not easy to locate, as one has to hike an unmarked trail to get to it. The falls are best visited after a rainfall. If you like hiking, and the quiet of almost no visitors, this would be a good place to visit, even with no rainfall - as pictured here. Buttermilk falls is probably one of the few waterfalls in New Jersey with a developed viewing area. The waterfalls drop 80-90 feet over the red rocks of the Kittatinny ridge, and make a spectacular sight after a rainfall. Even without a rainfall, as pictured here, the falls are definitely worth visiting. Be prepared for a mile or two of dirt road driving though.
